Jerzy Koźmiński

Chairman of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation

In 1989 a Director General, then an Under-Secretary in the Cabinet of Poland. From 1993 to 1994 served as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From 1994 to 2000 appointed as an Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to United States where focused on develop allied relations between Poland and USA as well as Poland’s negotiations to the membership in the NATO.
Since 2000 the Chairman of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, which concentrate on the cooperation between Poland and USA in the areas of creating a civil society, democracy and market economy. In 2004 Chairman of the Organization Committee of the European Economy Summit in Poland.
Awarded numerous prizes, for example: Polonia Restitutia, Kościuszko Foundation, Andrzej Baczkowski’s and Jan Nowak Jeziorański’s Prize.
