An expert in the area of diplomacy, European security and arms control, plenipotentiary of the Security Policy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Poland.

From 1997 to 2000 director of the Department of Security Policy in Ministry of Foreign Affairs and member of negotiating team on Poland’s accession to the NATO. From 200 to 2002 Ambassador of Poland to Spain. From 2002 to 2010 Permanent Representative of Poland to NATO and Western European Union.

From 2011 to 2013 the Coordinator of works on Strategic Review of the National Security of Poland. A Vice-director of  Executive Council of Euro-Atlantic Association and the Professor of Vistula University of Finance and Business in Warsaw.
