Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to Poland

From 1996 to 2000 a Deputy chief of mission at Romania’s Mission to NATO. From 2000 for one year director of the NATO directorate. From 2001 to 2005 the substitute of the State Secretary for defence policy and Euro-Atlantic integration at the Ministry of National Defence. From 2005 to 2007 a Director general for political affairs. From 2008 to 2012 Romania’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belgium. In 2012 appointed a State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Romania.
Member of several NGOs, such as the George C. Marshall Association, the Manfred Wörner Foundation, the Black Sea Trust Fund Advisory Board, and the Harvard Club of Romania and Moldova.
Awarded the Order of Loyal Service, in the rank of Knight and the Order of Diplomatic Merit, in the rank of Officer.
