Ph.D of History, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the United States of America

In 1991, after the political scene changed in Poland, joined the Foreign Service, beginning a mission as Ambassador of Poland in Uruguay and Paraguay till 1996. From 1998 to 2000 held the position of Deputy Director in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. From 2000 to 2001 held the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary as Deputy Chief of Mission of the Polish Embassy in Madrid, followed by an Ambassadorship in Costa Rica from 2001 to 2005, with simultaneous accreditation in Central America.

From 2005 to 2006 Secretary of State for Foreign Relations and Security at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. From 2006 to 2007, Ambassador ad personam, and Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Global Threats, and afterwards, till 2008 Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to the Kingdom of Spain, from 2008 to 2012.
