Anna Dombek holds a Master of International Relations from Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. She also graduated in Cultural Studies from the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, where she specialized in Asian studies.
Her research interests include a strategic culture of the People’s Republic of China, conflicts and cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region, international security and terrorism.
Ms. Dombek is a young professional with effective planning and communication skills. She has taken internships at Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (now Polish Investment and Trade Agency), Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai and Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) in Berlin. She gained professional experience while living in China from 2015 to 2017. She took part in the Yale-China Program on Child Development, led by the Edward Zigler Center at Yale University.
Anna Dombek is a member of the Women In International Security (WIIS) Poland. As a representative of the Polish chapter, she has been working on the #SHEcurity initiative since 2020. Led by German MEP Hannah Neumann, the #SHEcurity is a project that aims to highlight inspiring women in the field of peace and security.
Ms. Dombek is also interested in cross-culture communication; films of Hollywood’s Golden Age; true crime; globalization, beauty industry and aesthetic surgery in South Korea.
She speaks Polish, English, Chinese and basic German.
Anna Dombek joined the Casimir Pulaski Foundation and Warsaw Security Forum team in early 2019.
