Chris Böhme, an electronic engineer by training, is the lead software architect and co-founder of Pinkmatter Solutions. In 1998 he started out in the field of network security and cryptographic appliances. Chris is currently involved in creating systems for natural language processing, big data mining and satellite image interpretation and information visualization. In 2007 he co-founded the startup Paterva where he architects the information collection and visualization tool Maltego. Maltego is widely used in intelligence and law enforcement for everything from social media mining to network analysis.
