Is a Lieutenant Colonel of Artillery, as well as an Industrial Engineer with specialization in electronics and automatics.  He holds several certifications of specialization in ICT security (ISS, SANS, CRAMM, INAP Audit Course, CCN-STIC courses, etc.)

Currently, his principal responsibilities are the training of civil servants on cybersecurity, the development of CCN regulations (policies, guidelines and guides of ICT security for Public Administration - CCN-STIC Series), the development of PILAR risk analysis tool, the supervision of the system accreditation and the performance of security audits as well as all the actions derived from the National Security Scheme.
