Michael Druckman

Mentor, New Security Leaders

Michael Druckman serves as the Resident Program Director for Ukraine at the International Republican Institute (IRI) overseeing IRI’s programs in Ukraine which support nationwide public opinion polling, political party strengthening and support for democratic governance through engaging local municipalities. He is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and frequently publishes on Ukraine and the region for The Atlantic Council as well as in the Kyiv Post, Business Ukraine Magazine and the Ukrainian language online newspaper Ukrainska Pravda (Ukrainian Truth).

Druckman received his BA with honors in Political Science from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island and holds an MBA from George Washington University. He has served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Turkmenistan and prior to joining IRI worked for a financial advisory firm focused on Central and Eastern Europe.
