Brigadier General (R) Zvikael Haimovich has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. As a highly accomplished Air and Missile Defense Officer, he has developed strategies, policies, and plans for joint, combined, and interagency operations. His career is marked by leadership of large and complex organizations, managing change, building teams, and establishing strategic relationships. General Haimovich has extensive operational experience in high-intensity conflicts and has been involved in deploying and operating advanced systems and technologies such as Iron Dome, Arrow 3, David's Sling, and anti-drone concepts. Recently, he has been serving as an independent strategic consultant to top-tier companies in the security and cyber fields. Brigadier General Haimovich is the former Commander of the Israel Air Defense Forces (IADF). Throughout his career in the Israeli Air Force (IAF), he held several key positions, including Commander in Charge of the Command Field at the IAF Air Defense School, Head of the Training and Doctrine (TRADOC) Branch in the IAF Air Defense Division, and Commander of the Active Defense Wing and Sky Defense Wing. He holds a BA in Middle East Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master's degree in National Security Studies from Haifa University. Additionally, he has a Diploma in Strategic Management from the United States Air Force (USAF) Air War College and is a graduate of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) National Security College (INSC).
