Christine Harbison is sector vice president and general manager of the Combat Systems and Mission Readiness division for Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector , a leading global provider of defense solutions addressing evolving threats.

Harbison has responsibility for more than $1.5B of scalable, open and modular architecture and immersive environment capabilities, training, services, sustainment and modernization solutions, integrated battle command systems, and tactical weapons and information systems, focused on evolving threats and quick-turn requirements for a wide variety of national security, military and civilian customers. She brings forth Northrop Grumman’s unmatched experience and expertise in advanced all-domain defense solutions to enable joint connectivity for a decisive in-theater advantage. Included in her portfolio are programs focused on integrated battle command systems, secure communications, sensing capabilities, protection technologies, and training and immersive environment solutions.

Prior to her current position, Harbison served as the vice president of multiple business areas, where she led overall global growth, strategy and program execution delivering integrated all-domain real-time solutions, ground based air defense and tactical radars and C4ISR.

Harbison brings extensive global experience in defense and commercial technology businesses to Northrop Grumman. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is on the advocacy and advisory board for the Global Women in STEM, an active member of the Forum for Executive Women, the Women in Defense Organization, and the National Defense Industrial Association.

Harbison graduated with distinction from University of Maine, earning a bachelor ’s degree in computer science and mathematics. She also earned her master’s degree in computer science from Old Dominion University.
