Mr. Michał Kobosko is the Director of the Wroclaw Global Forum, an annual event organized by the Atlantic Council, the Polish Institute of International Affairs, and the City of Wroclaw. Previously, he was a media manager and journalist with more than twenty years of experience with various media outlets in Poland. He started his journalistic career in 1993 at the economics desk of Gazeta Wyborcza, while studying at the Warsaw Technical University and the American Study Center at Warsaw University. He later served as the editor-in-chief of major international publications in Poland, including local editions of Forbes, Newsweek, and Bloomberg Businessweek. He has been involved in a number of media-related projects, including a Pol- ish-licensed edition of the Project Syndicate website and the speakers’ bureau Prime Speakers. He is a member of numerous journalistic and business awards juries and serves on the board of the Junior Achievement Foundation. He is a commentator on business and politics for various media.
