Previously nine years senior project manager and expert for GIZ (Germany Agency for International Development Cooperation), mainly in the field of legal and judicial reform. 2000-2001 Personal Assistant to the CEO at Deutsche Bank Moscow and Rule of Law Officer at the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the OSCE in Warsaw. 1997-1999 programme and project officer for the European Commission in the field of human rights, employee in a law firm and at the European Parliament in Brussels. Fully qualified lawyer with second state examination of the Düsseldorf Regional Court and first state examination of the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law and International Business Law from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Languages: Native German; English; French; Russian.
