Andrius Kubilius

Member of the European Parliament (AFET, ITRE), Prime Minister of Lithuania (1999 - 2000, 2008 - 2012)

Mr Kubilius was Secretary-in-Charge of the Lithuanian Reform Movement Sajūdis in 1990-1992 and a Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania form 1992 to 2019. Twice the Prime Minister (1999-2000 and 2008-2012).

He served as Chairman of the Homeland Union – Lithuania Christian Democrats from 2003 to 2015. Since 2015 – member of the International Advisory Council of Reforms to the President of Ukraine; member of the International Advisory Council, IRI, USA; member of the Advisory Board, EuroGrowth Initiative, Atlantic Council, USA. Author of international Initiatives “Marshall Plan for Ukraine” (“European Plan for Ukraine”) and “Ukraine-2027”.

Andrius Kubilius served as Chairman of the Policy Committee of the Knowledge Economy Forum from 2001 to 2008, and was Chairman of the Knowledge Society Council under the President of the Republic of Lithuania in 2001-2003.
