Leyre Castro Caballero joined the Casimir Pulaski Foundation in the beginning of 2021 after performing her internship there during the Fall of 2020. She is currently finalising an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree in European Studies at the Jagiellonian University and the Georg August University of Göttingen. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Deusto in Spain.
Besides her position at the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, Leyre volunteers as an editor and Social Media manager for her Master’s Program’s Magazine, The Euroculturer.
Her main research interests are related to Central Eastern European countries, the post-Soviet space, the European Integration Process and International Security.
In addition to her natives Spanish and Basque, Leyre is fluent in English and can communicate in French. She is currently learning German and Polish.
