Mr. Marek Zagórski is the Ministry of Digital Affairs in the Republic of Poland.

Between 2006 and 2007, Mr. Zagórski was the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, between 2015 and 2016 he was Secretary of State in the Ministry of Treasury, and from 2016, he was Secretary of State in the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

In the years 2005-2006 and 2009-2015 he was President of the board of the European Fund for Polish Rural Development. Additioanlly, he was a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Council of the State Treasury Agricultural Property Agency and the Export Credit Policy Committee.

Between 1999 and 2001 he was the Head of the Political Cabinet in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Before entering the public sector Mr. Zagórski actively worked in the media. He was editor-in-chief of the “Punkt Widzenia” weekly (1991-93), managed the editorial office of the Szczecin cable television TV Gryfnet (1993-95) and was President of the board of the Pomeranian Radio Station (1995-98).

Mr. Zagórski graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Szczecin (Master of Education, 1993) and postgraduate studies in banking and finance at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (2001).
