Mr. Nikoloz Khatiashvili is the Chief of Staff of the Foreign Relations Committee at the
Parliament of Georgia. Before, has worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia,
Political Department for almost 7 years, specialized on national security issues, as well
as on policy planning and analysis.
Besides his governmental position, he is head of the National Security Program at the
Caucasus Academy of Security Experts and lecturer at the Tbilisi State University where
he is obtaining his PhD specialized on Russian Nuclear Policy and National Security. He
is graduated from the Georgian Technical University (BA international Economics) and
University of Georgia (MA International Relations and Security).
Khatiashvili has participated as a speaker in 8 international conferences and is the
author of 12 scientific researches and articles.
