Dr. Witold Repetowicz is a Research Fellow at the Casimir Pulaski Foundation and has obtained a PhD in security studies at the National Security Department of the Academy of War Arts. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, an assistant professor at the Military Art Academy, and an expert on the Middle East, terrorism, and geopolitics. He is the author of the books My name is Kurdistan and Allah Akbar, war and peace in Iraq, as well as numerous reports from frontline areas in Syria and Iraq. A regular collaborator with Defence24.pl, he specializes in Iraq, Syria, Kurds, Turkey, Islamic State, Islamic extremism, hybrid threats, migration, and demography, with additional publications on Africa and Central Asia.
