Andrea Rigoni, with over 30 years of experience in Cyber Security, is currently a Managing Director at Accenture. In this role, he is responsible for developing Security in Government and Defense industries globally. Andrea is also the NATO Global Client Account leader.

Previously, Andrea was a senior partner at Deloitte for seven years, leading Global Cyber in Government and Public Services, and served as Director of the Digital Policy Center in Brussels. Between 2017 and 2019, he was a member of the Italian Government's Special Expert Group on AI. Andrea is also involved in many international government and defense working groups on the definition of new approaches to the defense operations in the fourht domain.

Andrea has made significant contributions in establishing or evolving national agencies and centres in various countries. Before his tenure at Deloitte, he worked as an Advisor to multiple governments and as an external director of special projects for NATO's Emerging Security Challenges, supporting nations including Ukraine, Georgia, Jordan, Armenia, South Korea, and Rwanda. He is also author of various NATO series books on Cyber Defense and Cyber operations.

Between 2013 and 2014, Andrea served as an Advisor on Digital Security to the office of the Italian Prime Minister. He played a pivotal role in developing the Italian Digital Identity framework and co-authored the Italian National Cybersecurity Strategy and Framework. Additionally, he advises the UN/ITU on Cybersecurity and is a member of the Global Forum for Cyber Expertise (GFCE).

From 2010 to 2014, Andrea Rigoni served as the Director General of the “Global Cyber Security Centre” (GCSEC), a non-profit foundation based in Rome, focusing on Cyber Security, including International Policy & Cooperation, Education, and Research. He was also a member of the International Advisory Board at ISACA and participated in the ICANN review team for the Security, Stability, and Resilience of the DNS.

Previously, Andrea held key positions at Poste Italiane as Director of eCommerce and eIdentity and at Booz Allen Hamilton and then Booz&Co. as a Senior Associate. In these roles, he spearheaded Cyber Security projects across Europe and the Middle East and provided consultancy to National Governments, International Institutions, and Critical Infrastructures. His earlier career also includes significant roles at Symantec in the UK and Middle East, and at Getronics/Olivetti.

Andrea is the co-author of two notable publications: "Computer Network Defence: New Threats and Trends" (edited by Melissa Hathaway and published by NATO press in 2014) and "Next Generation CERTs – From Response to Readiness" (published by NATO press in 2019). His contributions to the development of UN-ITU guidelines and handbooks on Cyber Security are also noteworthy.
