Tomasz Smura

Tomasz Smura holds a PhD in political science from the University of Warsaw and is a graduate of the Institute of International Relations at the UW. He also previously studied at the University of Nottingham. His doctoral dissertation was on the formation of the balance of power system in East Asia, and his research interests include the topics of U.S. foreign policy, the East Asian region, and international security (especially in the military aspect). Tomasz Smura is a Fellow of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, has served as Director of the Office of Strategy and International Cooperation at the Strategic Treasury Company, among others, and has held analytical internships at the Department of Strategy and Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish Institute of International Affairs, among others, and currently works as Director of the Office of Analysis at the Kazimierz Pulaski Foundation. Since 2022, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Kazimierz Pulaski Foundation.
