Strahinja Subotic joined the European Policy Centre in January 2017. He works within the Europe&US program area, dealing with the EU politics and institutional setup, in the context of Serbia’s EU accession negotiations. Up until now, he has authored over 50 publications on topics such as EU affairs, and on the role of third actors in the Western Balkans and Serbia. In addition, Strahinja is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Faculty of Political Science (University of Belgrade), where he originally graduated as the best student of his Department. At Central-European University he obtained an MA degree in Political Science. He speaks English and Italian and is currently learning Spanish.
