Elena Symmes currently works on Capitol Hill in the U.S. House of Representatives. Previously, she worked at Hudson Institute, a leading national security policy NGO in Washington, D.C. Elena began her professional career on television in Alaska as a journalist, after earning a Master’s degree in History from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts, awarded with highest honors, at McGill University in Montréal. Elena also studied at Saint Petersburg State University in Russia.
