Ms. Zsuzsanna Szelényi is a Member of the Hungarian Parliament representing the party Együtt (Together), as well as a member of the party’s presidential board.

Before re-joining politics in 2013, Ms. Szelenyi served for fourteen years at the Council of Europe advising governments and NGOs on conflict management, human rights and human development issues. In 2010-13, she worked as a human development consultant for international organizations in various Central European and North African countries.

Ms. Szelenyi started her career as a founder of Fidesz, a youth party at the régime change in 1988 in Hungary, and was a Member of the first freely elected Parliament. She holds degrees in Psychology, International Relations, and International Politics and Economics.
