The Konrad Adenauer Foundation once again becomes an institutional partner of the Warsaw Security Forum
We are honored to announce that in 2020, Konrad Adenauer Foundation will continue its institutional partnership with the Warsaw Security Forum.
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is a German political foundation that aims to promote freedom and liberty, peace, and justice. KAS focuses on consolidating democracy, the unification of Europe and the strengthening of transatlantic relations, as well as on development cooperation. Only in Germany, the foundation organizes more than 2,500 events per year which attract 145,000 participants. They provide scholarships and support to intellectually gifted and engaged young people, not only from Germany, but also from Central and Eastern Europe and worldwide.
Moreover, KAS supports the further development and reinforcement of the Christian Democratic movement. The foundation works independently and autonomously with the German Christian Democratic Union. As most of German political foundations, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is very largely financed by federal and Land government funds. Around 99 % of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s funds come from public remittances, while 0,8 % are derived from admission charges and miscellaneous revenues. In addition, private revenues (income from funds and donations) account for another 0,2 %.
