WSF2015 Speaker: Alan Riley Professor of Law at City University London

The Organizing Committee of the WSF is delighted to announce that Professor Alan Riley will join one of the Warsaw Security Forum 2015 Panels to discuss whether Energy Union can strengthen Central and Eastern Europe energy security.

Professor Alan Riley is an English political thinker, law scholar, international writer on energy and competition issues, and a Professor of Law at the City Law School, City University, London.
Professor Riley is chair of the Competition Law Scholars Forum (CLASF), a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, an Associate Research Fellow of the Centre for European Policy Studies, Brussels, and Senior Fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Centre.
Additionally, he is an Associate Senior Research Fellow of the Institute for Statecraft and is a regular guest columnist on competition and energy law issues with the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and the Financial Times. Professor Riley is a regular contributor to topical programs in the media, including a recent BBC appearance to discuss the implications of the European Union’s investigation into the Gazprom case.
