WSF2019 | Warsaw Security Forum 2019 supported by the International Visegrad Fund

We have the pleasure to announce that the Warsaw Security Forum 2019 is supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
The International Visegrad Fund is an international donor organization established by the governments of the Visegrad Group (V4) countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia). Its aim is to support closer understanding and cooperation among people in the V4 region, as well as between the V4 region and other countries and regions, particularly in the non-EU neighbourhood of the Eastern Partnership countries and in the Western Balkans.
The fund does fosters the development of civil society by financing joint grant projects and by awarding university scholarships and artist residencies. The fund’s annual budget of €8 million consists of equal contributions by the V4 governments.

With Prof. Katarzyna Pisarska moderating a high-level panel on European aid to Ukraine and hosting an exclusive working dinner on transatlantic relations, WSF played a direct role in shaping the strategic debate. The forum outlined key priorities for European security—strengthening Ukraine, bolstering defense industries, and redefining Europe’s role in global security—reinforcing the message that Europe must lead, or risk being sidelined.

Warsaw Security Forum Advocates for Key Security Priorities During High-Level Delegation Visit to Brussels

Last week, representatives of the Warsaw Security Forum (WSF), including Prof. Katarzyna Pisarska and Tomasz Obremski, visited Brussels to present the WSF 2025 initiatives to the newly appointed EU and NATO leadership. The delegation engaged in over 20 high-level meetings with officials from the European Commission, European Council, European Parliament, and NATO Headquarters, focusing on critical global and regional security priorities.
