The Warsaw Security Forum’s 2025 Public Dialogue

On the 7th of May, the 2nd edition of the Warsaw Security Forum’s Public Dialogue will take place in the very heart of Warsaw.

Organized under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council and the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, this one-day event will feature a notable lineup of guests and speakers from government institutions, the security sector, and academia. Together, they will engage in a series of panel discussions, conducted in the Gymnich Format, addressing Europe’s security and defence, political challenges, and the future directions of the EU.

Figures such as Radosław Sikorski — Minister of Foreign Affairs (Poland), Baiba Braže — Minister of Foreign Affairs (Latvia), Elina Valtonen — Minister for Foreign Affairs (Finland), Aleksander Kwaśniewski — President of Poland (1995-2005), and Enrico Letta — Prime Minister of Italy (2013-2014) will be present.

The central topics — in line with the main objectives of the Polish EU Presidency and the overall theme of the conference, “European Union’s Defining Point” — will encompass:
— The ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine;
— European defence capabilities;
— The current and future state of transatlantic relations.
