Gibbs McKinley is the research associate to the CEO at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). Her work encompasses U.S. national security, the history of U.S. foreign policy, and global threats to democracy.
She has experience working on transatlantic relations, both for the Transatlantic Security Program at CNAS and at the Brookings Institution. Gibbs earned her MA from the University of Kentucky and a first-class honors degree from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
