Jordan Koop is a Senior Adviser within the Regional Security and Defence Relations Division at Global Affairs Canada. Jordan supports Canada's work on climate security, technological innovation, adaptation, and NATO policy. She leads Canada's Federal Climate Security Community of Practice. Prior to joining the Canadian government, Jordan worked in Brussels, Belgium at the NATO Headquarters from 2022 - 2024 in the Innovation, Hybrid and Cyber Division. Jordan previously worked at the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and holds an MA in Diplomacy and Global Governance from the Brussels School of Governance and an Advanced Certificate in Global Risk Analysis and Crisis Management.
