Born on February 1, 1977, in Gryfino. A Polish teacher, English philologist, social and political activist. For nearly 20 years, she owned and taught at a private language school in Gryfino, where she taught English.
She participated in the Congress of Women and was involved in founding the grassroots committee "Jesteśmy," which brings together caregivers of people with disabilities. She has been an activist in the All-Poland Women's Strike in Gryfino and is one of the national leaders of the movement.
Since 2019, she has served as a Member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm). During the 9th term, she was a member of the Social Policy Committee as well as the Standing Subcommittee on Family Affairs and the Standing Subcommittee on People with Disabilities. In October 2020, she became the spokesperson for the Spring (Wiosna) party. In June 2021, following the dissolution of Spring, she became a member of the New Left (Nowa Lewica). In November 2021, she was elected co-chair of the New Left in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. During the 10th term of the Sejm, she was appointed Chair of the Social Policy and Family Committee. On December 13, 2023, she was appointed Minister for Equality.
Now she is a Secretary of State in Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland.
