Dana is a seasoned law enforcement professional leading the Ministry of Interior’s international collaboration agenda. She oversees global partnerships, chairs multiple police task forces, and serves as Secretary General of the International Security Alliance, uniting 11 Ministries of Interior on key security issues. She also chairs INTERPOL’s Committee of Governance, enhancing transparency and accountability in the world’s largest police organization.
Dana is a strong advocate for protecting vulnerable communities, particularly children. She directed the Ministry’s Child Protection Centre, launched the UAE’s strategy to combat online child sexual exploitation, and developed national child protection legislation, policies, and reporting platforms. Internationally, she advances child safety as Board Member of the WePROTECT Global Alliance and the Virtual Global Taskforce, and co-chairs AI for Safer Children with UNICRI. She also co-chairs the International Initiative of Law Enforcement for Climate (I2LEC), in partnership with UNODC, which mobilized law enforcement’s first high-level presence at COP28 and continues to drive engagement on climate security.
Dana further leads the Secretariat of the Secure Communities Forum, fostering cross-sector collaboration on community safety. Her prior roles include Director of the Ministry’s Child Protection Centre, Director of Project Management and Shared Services, and senior posts at Abu Dhabi Police and the UAE Cabinet.
