Maciej Witucki

Chairman of the Main Council, Lewiatan Confederation, Poland

Maciej Witucki (born 1967), Chairman of the Main Council of Confederation Lewiatan – the leading Polish employers’ organization. From 2006 to 2019 served as the Vice-President of Lewiatan, and from 2019 to 2025 - as the President of the organization.

He graduated from the Poznań University of Technology and went on to complete his postgraduate studies in France at École Centrale Paris, where he specialized in operations research and decision-support systems.

He began his professional career at Cetelem Bank (Paribas Group) – first in France, later in Poland. From October 2001 he was a Board Member of Lukas Bank (Credit Agricole Group) until 2005, when he became the CEO. In 2006 he joined the Orange Group: between 2006 and 2013 he served as the CEO, and on September 19, 2013, he assumed the position of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Orange Polska. From January 2016 to February 2019, he was the CEO of Work Service S.A.

He is a member of the supervisory boards of Auchan Polska, MAK Ubezpieczenia and Krynica Vitamin. Since November 2022 - Vice-President at BusinessEurope. Since May 2024 - member of the International Business Advisory Council for Ukraine, which advises the Multi-Agency Donor Coordination Platform (MDCP). Member of the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Council, the Council of the Professor B. Geremek Foundation Centre, also serving on the International Advisory Council of GLOBSEC. Former member and Vice Chairman of the Presidium of the Social Dialogue. Former member and Vice Chairman of the Praesidium of the Social Dialogue Council (until 2025). From 2010 to 2017 he was the President of the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFP).
