Dr Nikos Loutas is Director Innovation at NATO’s Innovation, Hybrid and Cyber Division. He leads efforts to foster and expedite technology adoption, and to develop policies on emerging and disruptive technologies, including AI, to strengthen the Alliance’s defence capabilities and to help NATO maintain its technological edge.
Before joining NATO, he worked for the European Commission and held several positions in the private sector and in research. He has completed a PhD in semantic web and data analytics.
