Shairee Malhotra is Deputy Director, Strategic Studies Programme at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), New Delhi where she focuses on EU-India relations.
Shairee has several years of experience working in Brussels including as a Blue Book Trainee at the European External Action Service (EEAS), where she was selected at a success rate of 1% for non-EU nationals.
Shairee also served as Coordinator for the T20 Taskforce on Reformed Multilateralism during India’s G20 presidency, and as T20 Co-Chair during Brazil and South Africa’s G20 presidencies.
She has been awarded as a top 40 under 40 EU-India Leader by the Europe India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI). Her views have been widely published and cited in Indian and global media and academia.
