A Romanian statesman, international lawyer, and strategic advisor who served as Deputy Prime Minister of Romania and Minister of Justice.
Throughout a public service career spanning over two decades, her senior executive and diplomatic appointments included Minister Delegate for European Affairs, High Representative of the Prime Minister for Strategic Partnerships with the United States and European Affairs, and Presidential Adviser on foreign policy and strategic partnerships. In these roles, she directed initiatives focused on strengthening Romania's NATO and European Union integration, advancing transatlantic security, enforcing anti-corruption reforms, and reinforcing rule of law and democratic institutions.
In the energy sector, she served in executive leadership at Nuclearelectrica, where she focused on nuclear energy initiatives, infrastructure investment, and European energy security. Prior to her career in public administration, she practiced international law on Wall Street. She holds both a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.) from Yale Law School.
