Daniel Drake is a Czech-British citizen and spokesperson for President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, having joined the Office of the President in May 2026. He previously served for three years as spokesperson of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where his work focused on strategic communications and countering disinformation. Before entering public service, he worked as a journalist for several media outlets. He holds a master's degree in International Relations from the University of Portsmouth and a master's degree in Media Studies from Charles University in Prague, where he lectures on foreign policy communication and crisis communication.
