Emilie Esbens is a French diplomat with experience in defence and security affairs and European affairs. Passionate about diplomacy, she joined the French MFA in June 2022. First specializing in counter terrorism and organised crime in a multilateral (UNODC, NATO) and European (EU, Council of Europe, OSCE) environment. Later she transitioned work on space policy, a highly strategic and fascinating subject that brought her into a multi-domain and multi-dimension approach on defence matters. Starting September 2026, Emilie will be posted at the French embassy in Warsaw, following defence and external policies issues.
