A Norwegian energy sector executive and engineer who serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Gassco, a position held since the autumn of 2015.
With over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, his career includes a 20-year tenure at Equinor (formerly Statoil) beginning in 1992 as a process engineer at the Kårstø processing plant. During his time with the company, he held management responsibilities spanning plant preparation and start-up, operations, maintenance, capital projects, technology development, and organizational improvement. His technical oversight included corporate-level responsibility for defined process technology areas, Alongside leading industrial turnarounds, optimization projects, and corporate restructuring initiatives.
He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed in 1991.
