Halyna Padalko

Researcher, Information Warfare and AI, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Halyna Padalko is a multidisciplinary researcher specializing in strategic communication, propaganda, information warfare, and AI across these domains. She holds a master's in Global Governance from the University of Waterloo and a PhD in Computer science from Kharkiv Aviation Institute. She worked as a Fulbright fellow at MIT's Center for International Studies, where she developed and co-taught an MIT course on AI and propaganda. Padalko is an upcoming research fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School and has held fellowships and residencies at the European Parliament, the NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence, the Center for International Governance Innovation, and others.
