His journalism career at the Financial Times includes serving as Brussels Bureau Chief, where he leads European Union coverage and authors the Europe Express newsletter on continental politics and strategy. He previously served as FT Moscow Bureau Chief, reporting on Russian governance and state policy, as well as Central and Eastern Europe Correspondent based in Warsaw and UK news correspondent in London. Prior to joining the Financial Times in 2013, he reported from India for Reuters.
