A Polish air force officer, military jet pilot, and defense administrator who serves as Commander of the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces. He previously held high-level defense appointments, including Deputy Commander of the General Command of the Polish Armed Forces, Air Force Inspector, and Chief of the Air Force Directorate – Deputy Inspector of the Air Force.
Educated as a supersonic aircraft pilot at the Air Force Academy in Dęblin, he completed command and staff studies at the National Defense University, defense policy postgraduate studies at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Maxwell, and holds a doctorate with distinction in social sciences. His career across tactical air wings, fighter regiments, and air bases includes serving as Base Commander, Squadron Commander, and Commander of the 2nd Tactical Air Wing in Poznań, alongside staff leadership roles at the Air Force Command and the General Command in Warsaw. Since 2004, he has been directly involved in major national military aviation modernization programs, including the introduction of F-16, F-35, and FA-50 aircraft.
A master class pilot with over 3,500 flight hours on military jet aircraft — including over 2,500 on F-16s — he holds F-16 instructor qualifications, completed advanced flight training in the United States on T-38C and F-16 platforms, and graduated from the Tactical Leadership Programme in Spain as an international mission commander. Promoted to Brigadier General in 2019 and Major General in 2023, his honors include the Air Cross of Merit, the Gold Medal of Merit for the Defence of the Country, and the Silver Medal for Long Service.
