A Polish diplomat, public administrator, and financial executive who serves as Deputy Secretary General at the European Investment Bank (EIB), a position held since 2022.
In his executive role at the EIB, he supports governance processes and strategic decision-making to align institutional operations with European Union policy objectives. He previously served as Director General and Head of the EIB Brussels Office. His background in international development finance and European affairs includes serving as Vice Governor at the Council of Europe Development Bank and as Poland's Minister for European Affairs, in which capacity he represented the country at the EU General Affairs Council and during the 2011 Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
His earlier public service includes roles within the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He holds academic degrees in law, politics, and advanced European studies.
