Author and researcher on non-traditional security threats with two decades of experience developing strategic policy centered on the water-food-energy security nexus.
From 2008 to 2010, she served with NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, subsequently working as a consultant across the national security and defense sectors in Australia. Her research portfolio addresses transboundary resource geopolitics, environmental peacebuilding, and water security governance, including authoring Transboundary Water Governance and International Actors in South Asia alongside a monograph on environmental peacebuilding in the Pacific region.
She holds a Ph.D. focusing on 21st-century water conflicts and international governance, as well as a Master's degree examining resource geopolitics in Central Asia.
