Norwegian public official and policy executive specializing in climate, environmental governance, higher education, and economic analysis.
Her public service career includes government appointments within the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Climate and Environment, serving as State Secretary as well as heading portfolios in research, higher education, and environmental policy.
In civil society and the private sector, she has held executive and advisory roles, including leading the environmental organization ZERO and the analysis firm Damvad, serving as Deputy Director of the Agenda think tank, and working with organizations such as Econ, Norfund, and the World Bank. Earlier in her career, she served as President of the National Union of Students in Norway (1999–2000). She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
