Takanobu Sato has extensive knowledge of emerging technologies policy, including the strategic promotion, protection, and governance of critical technologies. He has worked on a wide range of projects at the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation focusing on the intersection of research, industry, and public policy, especially in relation to defense cooperation. He also has substantial experience and contributed to economic security policymaking.
