Polish vice admiral, naval commander, and operational strategist specializing in maritime security, joint force management, and multilateral crisis response.
His military career spans over three decades of command and staff leadership within the Polish Navy and the Polish Armed Forces. He previously served as Commander of the Maritime Operations Center – Maritime Component Commander (2018–2026), Commander of the 3rd Flotilla of Warships in Gdynia, and Chief of Staff of the 8th Coastal Defence Flotilla in Świnoujście. His operational assignments include serving as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Commander for Support in the NATO Training Mission in Afghanistan (NTM-A), commanding the Missile Ship Squadron, and commanding the missile corvette ORP "Hutnik." Within higher military governance, he held strategic staff positions at the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces and the Armed Forces General Command.
He is a graduate of the Naval Academy in Gdynia and completed postgraduate defense policy studies at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., as well as command and staff studies at the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. His specialized qualifications include operational planning credentials from the Netherlands Defence Academy. He is the recipient of numerous military honors, including the Bronze Cross of Merit, the Maritime Cross of Merit, the Star of Afghanistan, and the NATO ISAF Medal.
