Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence, Poland

Doctor, local government official and politician. Member of the Polish Sejm in its 8th,9th and 10th term. President of the Polish People’s Party since 2015.

Born in 1981 in Cracow, he is an alumnus of the Jan Sobieski’s 2nd High School and the Faculty of Medicine at the Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Medicum, holding a doctoral degree in medicine. He is a lecturer at the Internal Medicine and Agricultural Medicine Clinic at the Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Medicum. He earned his doctoral degree in 2010, and conducted his research at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, USA, among others.
