Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński was undersecretary of state at the Polish Ministry of Climate since the end of 2019 until the end of 2023. Previously, he served twice as head of the environmental department at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU respectively in 2019 and from 2015 to 2018, where he negotiated in the EU council draft legislation on climate and environment. He was appointed chief negotiator of the Polish presidency of COP24 in Katowice, preparing a package of decisions implementing the Paris Agreement. Previously, Guibourgé-Czetwertyński worked at the Polish Ministry of Environment as part of the climate negotiators team at the United Nations COP19 Climate Summit in Warsaw. He holds a master in finance from HEC Paris, a bachelor in History from Paris IV-Sorbonne University and a master in History from the University of Warsaw.
