Vera Kobalia is former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. In 2019, Ms. Kobalia was recognized as one of Business in Vancouver's (Canada) Forty Under 40 award winners.

Previously, she was an International Doing Business Advisor for the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance in Jakarta, Indonesia and also held the role of Deputy Chair of the Board for the Astana Expo 2017 National Company in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Ms. Kobalia is an AsiaGlobal Fellow at the University of Hong Kong and sits on Economic Advisory Committee for the City of New Westminster, Canada. She is also a member of the People’s Panel at the Centre for Public Impact in London, UK. Ms. Kobalia lives in Vancouver, Canada.
