Konrad Szymański (born 1969, Kalisz) Former Minister for EU Affairs, former Deputy Director of the Polish Economic Institute. European affairs analyst with long experience in Polish and international public sector. Deputy Director for International Affairs in Polish Economic Institute (2022-23). Minister for the European Union (2020-22). Before that, from 2015 to 2019 he was a deputy minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. Member of European Parliament (2004-2014), where he was member of the Committee of Industry, Research and Energy and the Committee of Foreign Affairs. From 2003 to 2010 he was a chief editor of the International Political Review – a bimonthly journal of economic and international policy edited by Sobieski Institute, in which European and American think tanks could present their materials and reports. Konrad Szymański graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
