Justyna Gotkowska is Deputy Director and Head of the Security and Defence Department at the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW), a Polish analytical institute based in Warsaw. She focuses on security and defence policy of Germany, Nordic and Baltic states, on NATO and EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy from regional perspective as well as on military cooperation in Central and Northern Europe. She writes also about Polish security and defence policy in NATO, in the EU and vis-à-vis the United States. She is author of multiple publications and security policy commentator for the Polish and foreign media.
